We understand how important ethics and sustainability are to our community, and we want you to know it is equally important to us. Sabel Collective HQ and our manufacturing team are following the best ethical and sustainability practices. We believe in transparency, exceeding minimum labour standards and adding value to our community & environment.

HOW WE HELP THE ENVIRONMENT

Here at Sabel Collective, we provide our customers with the very best of ethical and sustainable items. Majority of our products are made using recycled fabrics from Ocean waste.

Our staff, internally take further measures. Any of our fabric waste is recycled again externally.

WHAT WE PROVIDE OUR STAFF

We far exceed minimum labour standards at Sabel. All manufacture staff are paid above award wages at up to three times the standard; they negotiate their own contracts and salaries

Staff are provided with comprehensive health insurance for themselves and their family and are paid an extra month of salary annually. Meal allowance is included and any overtime (voluntary) is paid accordingly. Zumba dancing and soccer practice are also included for all staff who like to join.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

With every bikini you purchase with us, we donate proceeds to the ROLE Foundation and BALI WISE. In the times of COVID we are additionally supporting the work of SOS Indonesia, who are helping to feed those in dire need.

The ROLE Foundation run a zero waste facility and environmental development program in Bali. Their vision supports zero waste to oceans, sustainable businesses for coastal communities, and through BALI WISE - women’s business education and development. They also regularly educate us and our manufacture team on how to keep the environment in mind, around waste management and more. As a team, we have succeeded in banning plastic water bottles on site!
